Folder Size Monitor Reference - Windows and dialogs

< Back | Help index | Next > Folder Size Monitor Properties: Add – opens the Folder Properties dialog for adding new folder to be monitored. Edit – opens the Folder Properties dialog for editing selected folder. Delete – deletes selected folder. OK – applies changes and closes the Folder Size Monitor Properties window. Cancel – resets changes and closes the Folder Size Monitor Properties window. Apply – applies changes without closing the Folder Size Monitor Properties window. FolderSizeMonitor is Active/Inactive – displays Folder Size Monitor’s current status. Click on the status word to stop or start the monitoring service. Properties dialog (Folder Size Monitor Properties): Start with Windows – enables running Folder Size Monitor automatically when Windows starts. Disable alerts on startup – disables showing alerts when the program starts. Log file path – path to log file. Click on the browse button (...) to select folder and file for saving the program’s log. View Log – click on this button to view selected log file. Folder Properties: Folder – specifies folder to be monitored. To select a new folder, click on the Browse… button by the edit box. Folder size limits – group of settings specifying maximum and minimum limits for selected folder. Minimum – enables alerts when folder size reaches the specified minimum. Maximum – enables alerts when folder size reaches the specified minimum. Value – specifies respectively the minimum or maximum size limit for selected folder. Unit – specifies folder size unit (bytes, KB, MB, GB or TB.) Custom text – text that will appear when the folder size reaches the specified limit Actions – group of settings specifying actions to be performed over selected folder. Add – opens the list of available actions. Edit – opens the action edit window. Available to Editing is only available for the “Run application” action type. Remove – deletes selected action from the list. OK – applies changes and closes the Folder Properties window.
