View Folder Size columns

< Back | Help index | Next > View Folder Size allows the addition of 3 new columns in the "Detailed" mode of Windows Explorer. See default column names below. If you change the size of the column name, all "SizeEx" columns names will change automatically. • "SizeEx"    The column shows the file and folder sizes in customizable format. "SizeEx" is a substitute for the standard "Size" column.   • "SizeEx %"    The column shows the part that a folder (or file) occupies in its current folder by percentage. Information can be shown in graphical (bars) and/or number (values) styles. Hint: "SizeEx %" allows a user to easily analyze the files allocated on a drive and improve information sensing.   • "SizeEx sorting column"    The column allows the sorting of files and folders by size in Windows Explorer. Sometimes Windows Explorer does not perform sorting by size correctly using the "SizeEx" column. For example, this function is impossible in "Auto" mode. For accurate work, you can set the "SizeEx sort column". Hint: If you do not sort by size, uncheck this option to improve PC performance. < Back | Help index | Next >
