Configure using "View Folder Size Properties" |

The "View Folder Size Properties" window can be opened in 2 ways:
- Select "Properties..." menu item in "SizeEx" toolbar.
- Select "Moveax View Folder Size Pro" > "View Folder Size Properties" in the Microsoft Windows "Start menu".

Note: All changes in settings will be applied after the View Folder Size Properties window closes.
- Column title.
By default, the column is called "SizeEx". Any other title can enter,
but changes will be applied after reboot.
Note: The new "SizeEx" column name will be automatically
updated in all other column names.
- View style
- Files and folders - show both files and folders size;
- Files only - show current folder files size;
- Folders only - show subfolders size;
- Nothing - do not show anything.
- Size units.
This option allow setting files or/and folders sizes in Bytes, Kbytes, Mbytes,
Gbytes and even set optimal units using Auto metrics.
- Digit grouping.
Digit grouping symbol. By default digit grouping symbol is "Space" but any other symbol can
be selected from the list or entered using corresponding key.
- Decimal digits
Set the number of digits after decimal for file/folder sizes in the "SizeEx" column.
By default View Folder Size don't use decimal digits.

Percent column settings
Using these settings you can change "SizeEx %" column parameters
- Column style
"SizeEx %" column view:
- Value and Bar - shows values and graphics bars;
- Value only - shows values only;
- Bar only - shows graphics bars only;
- Bar symbol
Sets the symbol for the graphic data presentation in the "SizeEx %" column.
By default, it is "•".

Global settings
Sets cache settings and window position settings.
- Enable cache
Enables data caching. If the cache is disabled, PC performance decreases substantially.
Note: The cache does not collect data about files and folders on removable and network drives.
- Cache all at startup
The cache collects all data needed when checked for the first time.
It may slow PC work only during the Windows startup or during the first Explorer launch,
but it improves View Folder Size performance. If this option is unchecked,
only data that was requested by Windows Explorer will be cached.
- Enable splash.
View Folder Size will show a splash screen while updating cache.
- Start cache with Windows
Start cache after Windows launch. Otherwise it will be started with first Windows Explorer launch.
Hint: Optimal PC performance can be reached only when both the
"Cache all at startup" and the "Start cache with Windows" options are checked.
However, if you restart Windows often, uncheck these options to improve Windows launch speed.
Note: The "Cache all at startup" and
"Start cache with Windows" options are recommended for experts only!
- Reset cache
Reset cache data. This option is available only if "Enable cache" is enabled.
- Properties window is always on top.
Keep the "View Folder Size Properties" window on top.
This option is very convenient for rapid metrics and style configuring.
- Menu.
The Menu has the following items:
